ROMAN IMPERATORIAL SILVER DENARIUS OF OCTAVIAN, LATER THE EMPEROR AUGUSTUS

Octavian, silver denarius.
Diameter: 19 mm.; Weight: 3.53 grams
Rome(?) mint, struck autumn 30-summer 29 BC

Obverse: Bare head of Octavian (later Augustus) left.

Reverse: Military trophy composed of helmet, cuirass, shield, and crossed spears set on prow of galley right; crossed rudder and anchor at base.

Very fine condition.
