Decoration added in red, with a naive owl flanked by stylized laurel sprigs on both sides.

Etruscan owl glaux are rare. Retaining web of root marks.

Ca. 350-300 BC

Ex private French collection, acquired between 1930 and 1960; private British collection acquired in 1994; J.M.E. collection, New York,

acquired at Bonham’s London in October 2009.
