Turned to her left and wearing a tunic and cloak, her face with thoughtful expression, high cheek-bones, her imperial coiffure parted and drawn behind the ears and up into a tiered turban of braids, small incised curls escaping at the temples. 18th century restorations to nose and and socle.

Early Hadrianic, ca. A.D. 120-125

Ex Stora Sundby Castle, Eskilstuna, Sweden, collected in the 18th Century; Swedish private collection, acquired in 1912; Dr. E. collection, North Carolina, acquired from Royal-Athena in 2002.
