ROMAN MARBLE LIFE-SIZE PORTRAIT BUST OF A PATRICIAN YOUTH

Possibly Drusus Minor, son of the emperor Tiberius, or a contemporary, with fine features and a pronounced forehead. An exceptional portrait said to have been found in the waters off Spain.

Acquired in London, October 1990.
