|NORDIC NEOLITHICSQUARE-BUTTED GRAY FLINT AXE
An exceptional specimen, forming into a very expanded thin blade, a shape influenced by the shape of newly introduced bronze axes. The surface bears very careful flat flaking and is symmetrical to both lengthwise vertical and horizontal planes. Its perfect condition and exquisitely attenuated form suggests a non-labor performing use such as votive or dedicatory. Superb quality.
